School Events

Celebrating Achievements, Community & Faith

At Salamah College, the School Events plays a vital role in bringing the school community together through meaningful and well-organised events. Every event is designed to reflect and uphold the values and ethos of Salamah College, fostering a sense of unity, academic excellence, promoting cultural awareness and spiritual growth.

From fundraisers and religious observances to academic assemblies and graduation ceremonies, our events serve as opportunities for students, staff, and families to connect, celebrate, and reflect on the values that shape our school community.

Fostering A Sense of Community Through Fundraising & Giving

Fundraising is an important cause to foster a culture of gratitude and generosity as well as strengthen the bonds within our school community. These initiatives encourage students to:

  • Engage in acts of charity, reflecting the Islamic principle of giving (Sadaqah)
  • Develop a sense of responsibility towards those in need
  • Work collaboratively, reinforcing teamwork and community engagement

Religious Islamic Events – Strengthening Faith & Identity

Religious Islamic events hold a special place in the school calendar, allowing students to deepen their connection to their faith. These special occasions are celebrated to encourage:

  • A sense of belonging for students, educators and families
  • Enhance student and community engagement
  • Designed to reinforce Islamic teachings
  • Learning opportunities to reflect, and strengthen their spiritual identity

By organising Islamic events such as Ramadan celebrations, Eid gatherings, and Islamic awareness programs, we create an environment where faith and education go hand in hand. These experiences help students challenge stereotypes, promote unity, and embrace the beauty of their Islamic traditions.
